The Brandt Cobra screen is constructed with 3 layers: the sieve cloth layer, the middle layer, support layer and the frame.
High strength steel frame and support frame with appropriate tension method make the whole screen a reliable integrate, which well enhances the impact resistance from the drilling fluid and prolong its working lifetime. Meanwhile, different meshes from each layers matched accurately and reasonably, making the separating effectiveness better, which not only ensures the strength, but also enlarges the effective area of the screen.
The steel frame screens adopt the wedge-shaped fastening device, which makes the installation of screens more handily and quickly. That way, it can save the time of changing the screens and improve the working efficiency. The mesh is divided into many independent small units by grids of the backing plate , which can prevent rips or tears.
