Invar *6,also as Chinese4J*6,a low expansion alloy,consisting of *6% Nickle, balance Iron.This alloy exhibits extremely low expansion around ambient temperatures and is often used where minimum expansion is required.

Invar*6 has wide applications inOptoeletronics,optical and laser benches,electronics, and scientific instruments.
