According to ROP data (Traffic Statistics, ***9), the numbers of registered cars in Oman in ***9 was **5,**7 and is increasing by 7.5% annually. Such percentage will bring-about numerous tyres that, after sometimes, cannot be used any more. These kinds of tyres are very useful national resources that should be properly managed not to be dumped at landfill. A feasibility study to determine the most suitable system to recycle and dispose of used tyres will be commissioned in Q4 ***0.
