Product Description

Avocado is the leading export fruit in Kenya. Kenya exports its avocados mainly to European markets. The avocado fruit is green in color and looks similar to a pear. It is rich in fats and proteins. Avocados popularity is growing in overseas markets. Varieties There are two major varieties of avocados namely: Fuerte and Hass. Fuerte is green when ripe and is mostly oval shaped. Hass is medium sized and rounded and turn to color purple on ripening. Packaging Our packaging is in small boxes wighing about 4.1kg. Sizes range from *2 to *0 in Fuerte variety and *6 to *4 in Hass. Sizes are determined by the number of fruits that will fit in a standard box. Inspection All our fruits and vegetables have to go through pre-shipment inspection and issued with the relevant certificates by Kenyan authorities before exportation to ensure that our customers receive only the highest quality products.
